About Lalgarh PalaceThis sprawling palace was constructed by Maharaja Ganga Singh Ji in 1902. The imposing structure in sandstone is a perfect example of Indo- Sarasenic architecture. It was created and planned by Sir Swinton Jacod. It is a perfect blend of Mughal, Rajput and European architecture. Beautiful latticework and filigree work has been incorporated to add to the splendor of the palace. Now it is maintained by the Welcome Heritage Group.
